Stars and Constellations:

Part A) - Vocabulary

On Page 187 find the four key terms, and provide an image, definition, and sentence using the word.

Part B) - Famous Constellations

Create a collage of four constellations that are well know.  Be sure to label the constellations, and give a full sentence of details for each. Be sure to share were you found the your information in a bibliography.

Part C) Research Project

Using the "Find Out" activity on page 190 write a research essay on the topic: "How did ancient civilizations use the stars in their society?"

Rubric:

1) A full Bibliography will be needed, and text references should be made to where you've found the information...

2) You should also follow the essay structure for writing...

3) And a clear understanding of the topic should be demonstrated...
